This Month's Top Ten Tips From My Favorite Magazines - February

From Living Etc

1.  Living Etc. describes these shoes as looking like they were inspired by Frida Kahlo. I  have fantasies of being able to dance them.  These are statement shoes! They're designed by Caroline Issa for L.K. Bennett.

2.  I really like chairs covered in multiple fabrics. This one from Ian Mankin is especially charming.

3.  I like glass doors on the inside of a house. It lets light flow into dark rooms and hallways.

From O Magazine

4.  Thought these would be awfully cute with jeans or black pants for a casual Valentines event. And they are even on sale at CWonder.

5.  Don't know why our lips get thinner as we age. But thought this was a great tip.

6.  What else needs to be said... Valentines, Chocolate, Yummmmm. From Norman Love Confections.

From Real Simple

7.  This is super cool... magnetic wallpaper. Would love this wallpaper behind my desk so I could attach all kinds of thoughts, inspiration, pictures all over the wall. It's from Magscapes.

8.  Guess what this is. Looks like a cute quilted purse, right? It's a 12 by 19 inch gym bag. Available at Clava.

From Sunset Magazine

9.  Okay, they had me at the words champagne and mojito.

10.  We have a huge meyer lemon tree in our back yard. So I am always looking for things to make with lemons. Never tried Candied Meyer Lemons, but it looks like a fun treat and maybe something I could make for friends. Recipe

Thanks for curating some great finds. Love the shoes even though Frida and I would fall over in them!

Maryl - Yes I would love to think I could dance in them, but I am afraid I would even have trouble walking in them. I'm thinking they would be great for dinner out - you walk in the door and then sit!
