Healthy Choices - The New Normal

Several friends and I are on Weight Watchers. We all are doing really well...I think especially because we are so supportive of each other. When one of us has a tough day the others jump right in with words of encouragement.

Today my friend Tricia said something I loved..."It's just trying to make the healthy choices more and more often until they become the new normal."

Isn't that brilliant? And it's not just about what we eat...it's about exercising our bodies, finding time for ourselves, finding time for our friendships, laughing...

being the best of who we are...now isn't that a fabulous new normal?

It is true that little changes add up and soon you don't want the other stuff.

Found you on SITS :)

I hope the not wanting to eat the other stuff happens soon Haley. I'm still longing for chocolate...lots of it!:)

I really do try to eat healthier. But I do love my junk food.

Hi Cynthia. Yes, it is, indeed, brilliant! I don't go to weight watchers, but I must stop buying chocolate and fresh cream apple turnovers ! Thank goodness I have a fast metabolism, otherwise I would be like a little Buddha!! Thank you so much for popping over to my Blog and leaving a comment.

It's so true. That's what I've been doing here for the last year or so. And, for the most part, it's become ingrained as norm around here. I do slip every so often but I keep plugging along. It's lovely that you have such a supportive group of friends helping each other succeed. I have that online in the blogging community, but not so much in 'real' life. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
