The Power of Habit

I just finished this book and loved it. Really got me looking at the things I habitually do in a different way. Why do I do the things I do? Why are bad habits so hard to break? Why is it hard to make new habits stick. I don't very often think that one book can make a major change in my life, but this one just might do it.

This was fascinating. I think I need to figure out the rewards I seek—it's pretty easy to identify the habits for me. Thanks for posting this.

Diana - He does talk about developing new habits. Try dancing around your kitchen. I try to do it 30 minutes a day and the reward is I'm losing weight and improving by mood by 15-20%. The cues is feeling down...the routine is dancing around the house...the reward is an improved mood and smaller, healthier body.
