When I created yesterday's iPhone polaroid, I was playing with images that were very clean, simple and graphic. Today's iPhone polaroid headed in the opposite direction. I wanted soft and more mysterious. It amazes me that both are possible with my iPhone.
One of the things I find interesting about doing a One Photo A Day project (okay not every day but a lot of days) is that I start out doing the obvious, then as I run out of obvious ideas I move to less obvious ideas, next I start looking around (with the thought "Am I going to find anything to photograph today?") and finally I start playing and experimenting. As I run out of ideas, I stretch myself more. I know it is good for my creativity to "run out of ideas", but I'm always uncomfortable for awhile. I have to remind myself that's one of the necessary steps. I just need to hang in there with being uncomfortable and keep on photographing.
