Carmen's Burger Bar

Last night my friend Tricia and I went to one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants - Carmen's Burger Bar. It has a lot of burgers (beef, turkey, lamb, vegetarian), great salads, a number of mexican dishes, killer onion rings and yummy milk shakes among the many items on the menu. It also has a full bar with margaritas, cocktails, beer, and local wines.

Carmen's is one of those great little restaurants that not many visitors to the wine country know about, but the locals love. Carmen, the owner is a delight and often is personally serving her customers. The food is great, the service is friendly and prompt, the atmosphere is charming. It even has an outdoor patio and take out.

It's at 1612 Terrace Way in Santa Rosa, around the corner from Pacific Market.
