After seeing the picture of Katie Holmes I cut bangs. Then I saw this picture and wondered if I made a mistake. Of course I would need major botox shot into my forehead to look half this good. Actually I would need botox for the entire face and neck. However at least she doesn't look like a pirate. I found a scarf folding guide here.
I like how they put the scarf through a little hoop before tying it under her hair in back.
Hermes has these scarves called a silk Twilly that are 33 inches by 2 inches. Sounds perfect for the hair. But, they are (cough, cough) $125. Yikes!

Ah but it looks like you could still slide a scarf right over those bangs and hide 'em if you wanted to!
I wish I could have bangs. My hair texture and face just won't allow it:(
Great scarf tips. My hair is in such weird transition (from a bad cut) that a scarf just may do the trick or a hat!
I've linked your blog to a Creatively Fit blog list:)
A scarf tutorial, with pictures...how cool!
About a year ago I told my hairdresser 'i either need Botox or bangs and I can't afford Botox so give me the bangs!'
I just cut mine shorter too and regretted it that night.
I'm doing better now and think it actually looks good.
I really want to be a wearer of scarves, my Nana was & she looked beautiful in them. However, I have yet to buy any which puts me woefully behind the pack on that one.
I've been wearing bangs for years due to a picture my daughter drew of me when she was 5 years old. My face had, of course, 2 eyes, a nose and a mouth PLUS to lines above my eyes. When I asked her what they were....she said "my wrinkles" and I wasn't even 30!

I cut some bangs to hide the baby hairs that won't grow. You know what they say - bangs are the new botox - and I've gotta agree :D
