Keep On Dancing

I am beginning again. This time I am determined to dance every single day for 30 days...even if it's for only ten minutes. The ideal for me is to dance 30 minutes a day. The benefits are Tremendous! Any words of encouragement are appreciated. (Why do I need encouragement to do something so fun and good for me? I have no idea! Any free therapy on why I have difficulty finding time for fun and doing what's good for me is appreciated) There's no down side to dancing around my kitchen every day (unlike the down side of "I hate to go to the gym"). It's all only good fun. So here I go...once again off to fun and a better mood and a better body...

What I Know For Sure..
1. When I dance around my kitchen my mood increases by 15%-20%. (See charts in left column)
2. Dancing improves my mood and an improved mood effects everything I do the entire day.
3. My body feels so much better when I dance.
4. I'm more fun if I've danced.
5. I eat better when I dance.
6. Dancing is cheaper than therapy.
7. I'm more creative when I dance.
8. I lose weight when I dance.
9. I look better when I dance.
10.I laugh more when I dance.

My theory is that some of us have just been programmed to tune in to feedback from other people before we tune in to feedback from ourselves. I don't know about you but my first response is always just that, a response. I'm doing things right if everyone around me is happy. I'm still working on that concept that I'm doing things right if I'M happy and letting everyone else fall into step behind that.

Thanks Tricia - It seems like there is always something else that needs to be done first and before I know it, the day is over. I think my new motto needs to be Dance first. Do later.
