I just recently discovered Madeleine Peyroux via that wonderful iTunes feature the "Genius Sidebar". She reminds me a little bit of Billie Holiday. Although contemporary, I imagine her singing in a little, smokey, jazz joint in Paris in the 50s. Here are several songs that I like.
