Monday night I went to see Ladysmith Black Mambazo in Santa Cruz. They are terrific. At one point they invited audience members to come up and dance with them. So this is how the conversation went in my head...Me: Go on up there, when will you ever have an opportunity to dance with Ladysmith Black Mambazo? You're on the aisle only 3 rows back...it will be easy.
Other Me: Are you kidding? No Way.
Me: It will make a great blog post!
Other Me: You'll make a complete fool of your self.
Me: This is Santa Cruz. It's impossible to make a fool of yourself.
Other Me: What will Richard and your friends think?
Me: They'll either love it or think it's hilarious.
Other Me: Look - 3 people are up there and they are all younger than you.
Me: Who cares
Other Me: Do you see how high they are kicking? You will need cpr.
Me: I don't care. I'm going up.
Other Me: Too Late!
